Friends of Salmon Bay (FOSB, pronounced FOZZ-bee) is the parent/teacher organization for Salmon Bay K-8 School in Seattle. All adults in our school community (parents, guardians, staff, teachers) are automatically FOSB members with an equal voice and vote — no application to fill out, no dues to pay. If you have a student enrolled at Salmon Bay, we invite you to participate in FOSB to support our school!

Salmon Bay is a choice/option school in the Seattle Public Schools district, which means no students are automatically assigned. If you wish to enroll a student at Salmon Bay, submit your school choice application form during the district’s open enrollment period. Learn more.

Acknowledgement of Duwamish ancestral lands: Much of the land upon which we serve students was once inhabited primarily by the Duwamish tribe. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional, ancestral lands of the Duwamish people. We honor the strength and resilience of the first inhabitants, whose children we serve today.
