November FOSB Happenings

[Updated 11/20/20]
Here’s what’s happening with FOSB this month. We’ll update this post when new items are added. You’ll find Zoom meeting links in the Weekly Bulletin (sent each Friday via email).

Fall Direct Giving Campaign Has Launched!

Without a spring auction last year, our Direct Giving Campaign will be FOSB’s main fundraiser for this school year. We’ve stretched our goal to $78,000. Learn more about donating here.

Fall Book Fair

November 16 – 22
It’s time for our annual fall book fair in partnership with Secret Garden Books! Participants can shop online or in person at the store. Every purchase benefits our school library! Here are the details:

  • You’re welcome to shop Secret Garden’s entire website and store. If you don’t have an account, you may be asked to create one.
  • At checkout, make sure the code SALMONBAY is in the coupon box so your purchase counts toward the book fair.
  • Pick up orders at the store, or you can have items shipped to your home.
  • Salmon Bay receives a percentage of sales back as a commission (10 – 20% based upon total sales) so that Ben, our librarian, can purchase new materials for our school library.

Visit the Secret Garden website for book recommendations. Thank you for supporting the Book Fair and our school library!

Special Education Disability Committee (SED) Meeting

Wednesday, November 18 at 7 p.m.
Cheryl Jenrow, Committee Chair, is inviting you to attend the next SED meeting. Learn more about FOSB’s newest committee here.
