There is growing recognition that social media and excessive screen time contribute to serious mental health concerns among our youth. To mitigate the negative impact of screens\, we must tune into the latest research\, set boundaries\, and establish healthy screen use habits at school and home. \nTo support this journey\, the FOSB PIE Committee and school staff invite our community to a viewing and discussion of Screenagers: Elementary School Age Edition. Free onsite childcare and pizza available for potty-independent children – RSVP for childcare here to guarantee we have sufficient staffing and food for your child(ren). \n

The collection will be made available during Friendsgiving to be taken for free or accompanied by a gift of any value to FOSB Fall Direct Giving. Then bring a dish\, dine together\, and refresh your closets with seasonal attire for the whole family! Unclaimed items will be kept for our community and/or donated to a local charity. Give what you can. Take what you need. Contributions are optional. Joyous communing encouraged! Volunteer here to help the event run smoothly!

Board meetings are open to all FOSB members – if you have a student at the school\, you are automatically a member and have a vote! Come learn about the work being done by FOSB in support of our school\, and ways YOU can get involved as you are able. \nWe are planning for childcare to be available for potty independent children through COHO (Boys & Girls Club); childcare rsvp’s are helpful but not required. Childcare costs are covered by FOSB. \nIf you are unable to attend in person\, you may join via Zoom. Meeting agendas and previous meeting minutes are posted on our website.
