Did you know that Salmon Bay has one of the most active caregiver communities in the entire district — that’s you! We are 100% volunteer-powered, 100% donation-driven. Please consider volunteering your expertise, passion, time and/or resources in any form to help us build and sustain a unique and thriving Salmon Bay.
Program and event supports
We host and support a variety of school-wide enriching events and activities throughout the year, which require a team of volunteers to pull off. Learn more about the programs and events we support, and subscribe to our newsletters and calendars to stay apprised of evolving and current activities and volunteer needs needs.
School-day volunteers and visitors
There are many opportunities to participate in the school day and support school-sponsored activities and needs, such as:
- Camps
- Field trips
- Seasonal activities
- General school needs
Make sure your Seattle Public School volunteer status is current here and you are approved by Salmon Bay to be a volunteer and/or visitor. Don’t forget to sign into the front office as an approved volunteer and/or visitor, and get a badge. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Lara Cowles, with questions and for confirmation.
