Why Walk, Bike, & Roll?
- Health: Just 15–30 minutes of walking or biking a day helps kids build strength and develop healthy habits.
- Focus at School: Students who walk or bike to school arrive more alert, which can boost focus and learning throughout the day.
- Confidence: Traveling to school in a group helps children gain confidence in navigating their neighborhood safely.
- Community: Families, neighbors, and friends connect along the way, building stronger ties to the school community.
- Environmental Impact: Active transportation reduces traffic congestion around the school, creating a cleaner (and safer) environment.
