March FOSB Board Meeting and Community Speaker Event

March 21 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

This month,  FOSB is sponsoring an educational event led by Lisa Davidson, Seattle Public Schools Prevention and Intervention Manager, to learn more about preventing risky behaviors like vaping and other substance use & abuse. This event is intended for adults caring for tweens and teens, but caregivers of elementary students are encouraged to attend as well! Pizza will be served and free childcare through Salmon Bay Boys and Girls Club is available for potty independent kids. Event and childcare RSVP is very helpful but not required, sign-up here.

The presentation will take place from 6:30-7:30 in the school cafeteria, and the monthly FOSB meeting will take place immediately afterwards in the school library from 7:30-8:30.  There is an option to join virtually on Zoom as well..

Meeting ID: 836 3649 7160
Passcode: 654321

Board meetings are open to all FOSB members. (If you’re an adult with a student at Salmon Bay, you’re automatically a FOSB member!)

These monthly meetings provide an opportunity for school administration, teachers, and our volunteer coordinator to provide updates to our parent community. They also enable our directors and committee leaders to focus on planning and implementing all the activities and programs that FOSB supports.

Coming to FOSB meetings is a great way to learn about the work being done by FOSB in support of our school, and also how YOU can get involved and help us build community!

Meeting agendas and previous meeting minutes are posted on our website. Please email Fosbchair@gmail.com with any questions.
