What an end to the Direct Giving Campaign 24/25!
Thank you to our entire Salmon Bay K – 8 community members for their support in this years Direct Giving Campaign. $80,425 was raised and that is before company matches!! Fully funding this school year would not be possible without this entire community’s generosity.

Fundraising in public schools raises issues of equity. For this reason, FOSB is a member of the Central and North Seattle PTA Alliance (CANSSPA).
CANSPAA is the sister organization of the West Seattle Public Schools Equity Fund and Southeast Seattle Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA). Their mission is to advocate for all children in the Seattle Public School District to receive adequate and equitable education. In conjunction with FOSB Fall Direct Giving campaign,

Friendsgiving Potluck + Clothing Exchange
Wed Nov 20th, 5:30-7:30pm, school cafetorium
Join us for our first annual Friendsgiving potluck and clothing exchange! Clean out your closets and drop gently used kid and adult clothing and outerwear anytime in the designated box in the front lobby. The collection will be made available during Friendsgiving to be taken for free or accompanied by a gift of any value to our fall Direct Giving. Then bring a dish, dine together, and refresh your closets with seasonal attire for the whole family! Unclaimed items will be kept for our community and/or donated to a local charity. Give what you can. Take what you need. Contributions are optional. Joyous communing encouraged! Volunteer here to help the event run smoothly!
